10 minutes | Advanced | Wind Ensemble

I’ve long wanted to write an extensive work for advanced wind ensemble. I couldn’t tell you why, but it just never happened until this moment.

This music explores the unknown. It explores a realm beyond us and where we can imagine. It begins with a foreboding unpredictability which encapsulates the feeling of not knowing what may happen or what could exist. Upon landing in this new realm, we explore the surroundings and realize that there are beautiful things despite them being new to us.

This work is a new realm of possibility for me and was an adventurous writing escapade. This is only the beginning of a long journey for me exploring all possibilities that are out there and hope that this work can inspire others to do the same.
